This oil painting is of sun drenched Cannisland Woods in Parkmill, Gower and has been the inspiration for a number of works before.
I have taken this title from a Wordsworth poem, as I did previously with "One Impulse From a Vernal Wood".
This time I have taken the title "Apparelled in Celestial Light" from the poem "Ode: Intimations of Immortality from Recollections of Early Childhood" and these lines in particular:
"The earth, and every common sight,
To me did seem
Apparelled in celestial light,
The glory and the freshness of a dream."
