The marble statue of Aphrodite currently at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City is one of the world's most known statues from the Roman period which dates back to the 1st or 2nd century A.D.
Deciding to put her in a bathtub, I am looking at discordant elements that usually don't go together, and challenging the rigidity of stone, in hopes to give it life, pretending that it can do an activity as simple as taking a bath, which is usually only reserved for people.
