Original artwork description:

'Anticipation' is one of only a few remaining figurative works available from the artist's figurative painting years of 2000 - 2016.

Here the young lady is thinking about the evening ahead and what it may bring. She sits within a warm interior of yellow ocher and green. Her crimson red dress is new and there is much anticipation in the air. The model for this work is the artist's daughter (as in several other works)

The work has been painted with professional oil paints and varnished with Gamblin Gamar for protection. It is unframed and ready to hang with a wire attached. The painting is continued on the sides of the gallery-style canvas.
