Artist's description:

On weekends I ride my recumbent trike along Chicago's Lakefront Trail and take photographs along the way. On this particular day I spotted a patch of plants and flowers near the Bill Jarvis Bird Sanctuary. I took the photo blind and did not realize that it contained a bee. I was surprised, because I allergic to bee stings, and am usually careful of them. I like the photo, because of the bee and the vibrant color of the flower.
