Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons National Park, Wales. The mountain in the background is Lord Hereford's Knob - or "Twmpa" in Welsh.

When I first saw this Ash Tree a few years ago it looked like this with a hollow core. Over two successive winters the tree has been blown down by storms.

I make my prints using a professional inkjet printer and have developed a technique using a cotton-based watercolour paper that emphasises the subtle colours and textures of the grasses, bark and other natural elements in the scene.

Materials used:

Textured watercolour paper
