Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

This is a mixed media piece I created using mulberry paper. I had this fantastic mulberry paper laying around with great threads in it and also some terrific embossing. I knew it would look great in a painting, but it had to be simple so as not to detract from the paper. I used ink and some different mediums to give the ink a drippy feeling and the appearance of movement. There is iridescent medium used in this as well as acrylic paint. Please check out the other painting I did that is a companion or 'sister' piece to this one called "An Argument for Simplicity I".

Materials used:

ink, gel medium, mulberry paper, salt, acrylic paint
