Artist's description:

The Amur or Siberian Tiger is one of the "big cats" who's numbers have severely declined in the wild with estimates around 350-400. Poaching played a huge role in their decline. The best place to view these magnificent animals is at a Zoo these days but unfortunately these cats are often kept in small artificial pens with glass enclosures.

I will sometimes be asked to create art depicting wildlife and could not resist the challenge of creating the Amur in tall grass set against the setting sun. Beautiful, majestic and free is how I conceived this art piece and created a scene that I thought best represented how I would like to see these great creatures.

The image is offered here as a 16x24 inch print on canvas using archival quality ink.
Stretcher Bars are included in the shipping container and you will need to have the canvas stretched by a qualified framing shoppe.

Small sizes are available as are prints on pro luster paper upon request.
