Sculpture: Metal and Acrylic on Aluminium.
Aluminum Two is the inverse of Aluminum One, a flat curve on the exterior, a sphere inside, identical dimensions. Aluminum Two is the second of a series of wound wire pieces. It consists of 1,050 linear feet of wire wrapped continuously around an aluminum, laser-cut armature. It weighs 9.25 pounds and sits on a clear acrylic base. It can be easily hand-held or hung and allowed to spin freely. It is part of an on-going study of pure form, and there will be a minimum production of ten pieces each.
