This castle is the ancestral home of the Duke of Northumberland and is lived in by him and his family. It is open to the public and gets a lot of visitors. It was used in the filming of Harry Potter. It is very imposing from the road. The picture was taken from the famous Alnwick Gardens the brainchild of the present Duchess.
