We can let our minds soar, as high as they can go, almost flying...
This is a linocut reduction print, reduction means that as I am printing the very short edition of only 9 prints, I cut away areas to keep the color I just printed. This is quite a complicated process, great fun, as you don't really know how the print is going to turn out until the end, it is a technique I enjoy very much, as it feels quite like you are painting with your linocut knife and your roller with ink. Experience has taught me incredibly much about this way of printing, managing the ink, using pressure, etc etc, given the choice this is my favorite way of printmaking!
All my lino prints are printed by me, printmaking is my big love!
I have used a range of beautiful non toxic blockprinting inks colors to add a touch of happiness to any space you hang your linocut in.
The print measures 42 cm x 35 cm ( 16" x 14") and the actual printed area measures 36 cm x 26 cm (14" x 10")
I have printed the image on a bright white heavy weight printmaking paper. Please note you might not receive the number in the photo.
I ship from my studio in Denmark, with many years experience of packaging my art so it arrives safely, have a look at my reviews to set you mind at ease.
