A study bringing together an image from one period of Western Art and painted in the style of another.
An interpretation after Vermeer's "Lady in blue Reading a Letter" which is part of the Rijksmuseum collection in Amsterdam. Interposed between the viewer and the original source material is the divisioniste style of Georges Seurat to produce a pixellated registration of sample dots of colour.
