An acrylic painting measuring 30 x 30 cm and painted on MDF canvas board.
After Apple Picking features a wee scene from my kitchen table. Painted in layers of acrylic paint and acrylic glaze, allowing rubbing back to reveal previous layers of colour and depth.
The title comes from a Robert Frost Poem..,
'Essence of winter sleep is on the night,
The scent of apples: I am drowsing off'
