Original artwork description:
In this industrial style wall art I used patina just as paint.
After coating a heavy textured board with a reactive iron paint I created rust using a liquid oxidant in different layers and tecniques.
The accent of verdigris is obtained by oxydizing a reactive copper paint.
To protect the surface I chose a matt varnish -versus brilliant- not to alter the natural aspect of metal patina.
