Artist's description:

I wanted this work to suggest flowers , in a dark sort of way. I begin a painting like this with a spontaneous "mess" of scribbles and scumbled paint -just whatever I have on my pallette . Then I hang it on the wall and look at it for several hours until I have an inspiration to change some colors or marks. Later I think about composition and change it a little more. I keep changing it a little or a lot for several days until it looks done . I may change it more after a few days. At the last moment I imagined I saw a Juggler in the painting ,tossing roses. Then I painted the sides of the canvas black glazed the surface with acrylic glaze.

Materials used:

high quality acrylic paint and glaze, sides of canvas painted black

abstract # 1 The Juggler (2017)
