Watercolour of a woman fervently kissing her beloved.
My paintings are usually made and titled from a woman's point of view, but this one is from the man's perspective - it focuses on their faces and hands - her kiss from rosy lips is igniting his (paler) skin with bright yellow. Another little accent of rose is repeated on her fingernails.
The tiny areas of background to the lovers, and her wedding ring, is painted flat gold, in my current fascination with gold gouache on the lovely textured paper. (visible in the close-up pictures)
