Artist's description:

... it is of course not. I wish it would be :-)

This is Norton Conyers House, situated in North Yorkshire, few kilometres north of Ripon in Wensleydale.

It is said that Charlotte Brontë was inspired here as she was writing her novel 'Jane Eyre'. I was also inspired to paint something like this house (it is not a photography, so my imagination plays a role in this painting too).

This is a miniature painting, and its actual size may be much smaller than this one you see on your screen. I've painted on a Strathmore Bristol board with professional grade acrylic paints and finally I've varnished the item few times.

The painting is mounted and framed. The frame of the painting, a shiny aluminium frame, allows it to stand on its own or to be hanged on a wall, by ballancing it on a hook (or a nail). There is no glass in front of the painting (no need for glass because the artwork is well varnished).

The framed size is 15.5 x 11 x 1 cm.

This unique, original artwork will be packed with an exceptional care, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, and it will be send via Royal Mail 1 St Class Signed For.

For international collectors it will be send via Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed.

Materials used:

illustration board, professional grade acrylic paints, varnish
