Original artwork description:

The thing that I love about the towns in the Netherlands are the mix of shapes and patterns. The assorted gable ends and the linear canals form the base, finished off with the textures of the brickwork (especially the herringbone cobbles on the streets), the round trees and the flatness of the canal water. For me, that's a perfect combination.

This work is mainly done by ink pens, finished with a touch of pencil.

Materials used:

Ink and pencil on 220 gsm smooth heavyweight paper
