Originally an entry for a competition for the title 'my summer holiday' this painting was about the time spent actually going out and getting original references to work from for my art. I shot 24 films that summer and it was decided that I should 'go digital' because of developing costs but I have so many with my dear SLR that still nestles as a fall back in a nearby cupboard....
