The title really says it all! A traditional canvas and leather cartridge bag hangs in mid air - the flap is hanging open and falling from the bag is, not a shower of cartridges but a selection of beautiful pheasant feathers that I have collected on country walks close to my home, highlighting the sadness I feel at the loss of life of these birds just to provide easy ‘sport’ for the rich.
This is an oil painting on a deep sided box canvas - framing is not necessary as it is fully painted around all four edges. It is strung ready for immediate hanging. The size is 45cm x 90cm x 4cm
I am a very careful packer and for transport it will be double bubble wrapped and packed between sheets of plywood with the corners and sides further protected. The whole package will then be wrapped in stout brown paper.
