A cold morning In Jackson Hole in late October. A number of us tripped over to the Visitors Center to organize our plein air junket for the day. It seemed no one was willing to venture out from the overhead protection of the deck roof to venture out into the cold drizzle. I painted this scene while remaining under cover looking over the railing into a pond just below. A few little black ducks with white bills seemed to take it all in stride.
