This was an earlier watercolor I did. This painting was composed from many reference photos and I tried to include many gems in the painting such as a small spiders wed with spider as well as a baby whooping crane in the nest. I really love how the background turned out with the amazing hue of green that just pops when lit properly. I always hear this is peoples favourite piece among my paintings.

Arches 300lb cold pressed watercolor paper and W&N artist grade watercolor paints
