This is the last in a series of 3 paintings representing the Poppies at The Tower of London.
The medieval, the contemporary and an installation, marking one hundred years since the first full day of Britain's involvement in the First World War. This is a very poignant reflection on a moment in time.
Painted in my inimitable, almost impressionistic, pop art style with a limited colour palette.
Acrylic on box canvas with fully painted edges so no frame required. Protected with polymer satin varnish. It is supplied ready to hang, fitted with ‘D’ rings and picture cord.
