A Moment in Time (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Samantha Malone

"A Moment in Time" captures an abstract seated figure caught between movement and rest.

The figure is built from overlapping geometric forms in mustard yellow, green, burnt orange, blue, burgundy, warm brown and black, set against areas of soft creamy white. Strong outlines and layered shapes give the composition a bold graphic quality, while the relaxed pose brings a sense of stillness and reflection.

The work captures a fleeting moment of rest, a brief pause from movement and noise, suspended in time.
