Artist's description:

This is a nightmare. I wanted to make the wherewolf as scary as possible while keeping the bedroom below as cosy as possible with all the familliar things you might find there A blend of horror movies and Shakespeare. I wanted to separate the cosy world of the bedroom from the frightening world of nightmare in this picture. So I kept to warm colours for the bed scene and cold colours for the werewolf and forest above. Smoke from the torch spill over the rocky outcrop to the nightmare world above, linking the two worlds. This work has been exhibited so there are two wire loops epoxied to the back together with fishing line for hanging. They can be easily removed with a flat bladed knife if desired prier to framing.
