A Good Day…
Morning rush hour on a perfect blue-sky day.

We all have days when everything goes our way. One of those mornings, I was driving across the San Fernando Valley and I felt a rush of joy. Fluffy white clouds floated leisurely across the perfect blue sky. The sun was comforting and the Spring breeze gentle. Ahead of me, a day of creativity, family and friends. All is well. I captured a photo out my car window and used it as a reference to create “A Good Day.” I always smile when I look at this painting and remember that perfect morning.

My Artistic Inspiration…
I’m a cityscape oil painter passionate about intense color and deep contrast. My inspirations are the fluid light, dramatic vistas, quiet neighborhoods and stark landscapes of California and the Southwest. I paint with a vibrant palette and expressive brushstrokes to share my vision of an essence of the urban experience. I hope that the viewer will be inspired to see the world around them in a new light.
