Original artwork description:

Over the last bank holiday we went on a walk across Dartmoor. The landscape is so dramatic and awe inspiring so as soon as I got home I painting this from my experience. I built up the paint starting with a thin layer of oil and then used a wax medium and a linseed oil to get areas of mat and shiny paint. I particularly love the blue coming through the clouds. Hope you like it.

Materials used:

oils and birchwood panel
