This is definitely a feminine portrayal of a horse in motion.... a little girl's dream in a pastel rainbow of colours? Dare I say an almost ethereal quality to the graceful movement and flowing mane. I actually started to colour this piece to demonstrate my technique whilst exhibiting at an Art Fair.

My work has an emphasis on texture and I use acrylic paste with palette knives to create a deep, touchable structure which is then coloured with acrylic paint using various techniques with brush and rag.

This painting is on 100% cotton canvas stretched over a deep (approx 3.7cm/1.5") wooden frame and is signed on the front. The sides of this painting are finished in a delicate sandy cream and therefore it does not require additional framing and is shipped with hooks and wire so that it can be hung immediately after unwrapping.

I package all paintings carefully using layers of archival tissue paper, bubble wrap and corrugated card, inside a strong double-walled cardboard carton and am experienced with international shipping.

All paintings are accompanied with a Certificate of Authenticity.
