Original artwork description:
I found the wonderful photo reference I used for my painting of this sweet calf, which was taken by photographer Debra Underwood, on pmp-art, (a website for photographers & artists). The original photo had a lot of greens & yellows in the background since it was taken in a grassy field...however, I decided to change them in order to have a background with red and brown hues, along with some dark green added in some places. I felt that the shadows then needed to be done in some cooler tones, hence the light blue-green that you in the brightest color of the shadows in Chloe's coat. (my name for 'her').
"Chloe" is painted on an unframed, gallery-wrapped canvas (meaning that it is painted white on all 4 sides). It is able to hang framed or unframed.
