Artist's description:

This is my earliest self portrait. Not really, but I was 6 Months here. I remember seeing this picture year after year and when I started my painting life, I decided to do something with it. I used multiple layers of thin layers of Oil accompanied with various experimental paint layers and at the end of it I found that just the right amount of one with the other made it so the layers would start to flake off a bit. I was able to stop the flaking once I arrived at a visually interesting place. My shirt reeked of patriotism, but the look in my eye seemed to be aware of other things well beyond my 1/2 year old age. Hope you like OR are intrigued.
