Series Twelve
The photographs included within Series Twelve are dynamic and colorful images infused with motion and energy. The inspiration for this Series stems from my life long love of Abstract Expressionism and is an attempt to draw from that period through photography rather than with pigment and brush. I create the backgrounds and then introduce elements over them chosen for their color and surface texture, add motion and then photograph intuitively as the surface fabrics fly about. These are rich images which convey both meditative and creative responses when viewed. The images are printed 13” x 19” (though other sizes are available upon request) on very high quality Hahnemeuhle fine arts papers, and all images are rights managed.
