Original artwork description:
This is a painting of the Chancellor of the Exchequer painted in 2011 during my MA. The painting was a response to the recently elected conservatives and their push towards austerity. The original image came from a photograph from the 'i' newspaper and it seemed that in this image Mr Osborne was smirking.
