"Fig" — from the *Fruits* series (2017) Bronze sculpture by Veaceslav Jiglitski

A contemporary still-life bronze of a fig, opened to reveal its seeded interior, with a single segment resting at its side and a leafy branch curving above. The artist contrasts the fruit's outer skin — a dark, textured, hammered patina — with the densely detailed flesh inside, where the clustered seeds are lifted in polished gold. A small, richly worked object with quiet symbolic weight, the fig a long-standing emblem of abundance, fertility, and life.

Cast in bronze using the lost-wax method and mounted on an integrated round bronze base. Signed by the artist and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Made to order — a hand-cast, limited piece rather than a stock object.
