A Touch of Heaven is a large-scale ethereal seascape in soft blue, ivory, cream and touches of pale gold. At 48 × 72 inches, this vertical statement artwork is filled with luminous light, gentle colour and a wonderful sense of space, created for interiors where calm and atmosphere are as important as scale.

There are moments when the sky feels close enough to breathe. A Touch of Heaven captures one such moment above the sea near the Isle of Skye, where clouds drift gently across a pale blue sky, their soft cream edges brushed with gold.

I created the image from the clifftops near my studio, where it is possible to look out across the sea for hundreds of miles with almost nothing to interrupt the horizon. On mornings like this, sea and sky seem to merge into one vast expanse of light.
Although expansive in size, the mood is intimate. The subtle texture and delicate palette give the work an almost painterly quality, while the vertical composition draws the eye upwards through layers of sea, light and cloud.

At 48 × 72 inches, A Touch of Heaven is particularly striking in a room with height and space. It would make an elegant statement above a console, in an entrance hall, spacious bedroom or high-ceilinged living area, as well as within luxury residential, wellness and hospitality interiors.

I print my Limited Edition works myself in my studio using beautiful heavyweight museum-quality fine art canvas and high-quality archival inks. Each print is individually signed and numbered and supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity.

A NOTE ON CANVASES
The canvas includes approximately 2 inches of white border for stretching by your framer and is shipped safely rolled in a sturdy art tube.
