A view of the Summer Exhibition

The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition

The British summer is coming to a close (well, was it really here to begin with?) and so too marks the end of the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition for another year.

The Royal Academy has been holding its Summer Exhibition for a whopping 249 years and has exhibited works from the likes of Hockney, Turner and Emin. (You know Emin, the artist who’s married to a rock?)

The Summer Exhibition hosts a spectacular range of artists, from famous heavyweights to lesser known emerging artists, which is why it’s so special. Artfinder's own Richard Brayshaw, Ashar, George Shaw and Rosey Prince are all currently exhibiting and we’re feeling like proud parents.

Artfinder is built on a community of interesting and diverse emerging artists. So, when a show like the Summer Exhibiton celebrates just what we're about, we think this is something you should know too.
