Biography
My painting show a great influence of Old Prague and its mystery. He always says he would never have achieved any artistic satisfaction of he had not come to Prague in spring of 1988. My paintings have the ability to take you back over the centuries to a bygone era that allows you ti walk along streets accompanied by clowns and harlequins. My sense of humor makes the paintings understandable and appealing to a wide audience. The paintings are a combination of glaze and rough palette knife techniques. This gives them an extra quality and uniqueness. Often I use even my own fingers which I consider the best brush. It takes me no less than half a year to create one. The process of paintings takes a lot of energy, it is a joyful but demanding labor of love.
