  • Biography
My sculpture celebrates the emotions of life as a human being and my passion for creating is driven by my own experience and observations. Sculpture is my way of communicating these experiences that we all share and I want to talk to more people. I create sculpture not only to talk about my own emotions but also to provoke something in the viewer...positive as well as negative. I used to concentrate on portrait sculpture but now focus more on figurative work. I work in wax mainly and use BronzeAge foundry in London to mould and cast my pieces in bronze using the lost wax method. People have told me that my style reminds them of Giacometti - I'm flattered as I'm an admirer. I like to work loosely to give a sense of energy to my work. My focus at the moment is about how the way we hold our bodies reflects our emotions.
