    A recent 120cm x 120cm oil on canvas painting of a mallard in flight. Currently on display at Serena Hall Gallery, Southwold, Suffolk. It is available for purchase at £1950. Now sold.

    Paint scrapings!

    Paint scrapings!

    This is 15 years worth of paint scrapings off my palette. When I finish painting for the day I scrape it off with a palette knife and wipe it on this beast. It is now 43cm high and weighs 10 pounds! And still growing. By the time I visit the great artists studio in the sky it will be huge! And after being a painter my whole life, this will be my final piece. A sculpture!

    Photographing new subjects!

    Gathering some research material on a farm in Ireland. I have spent many hours in fields of cows over the years. You need to show the utmost respect for these fine beasts. In all the years I have been photographing cows I have never had a problem, but I have always trod carefully, been very aware and very respectful.
