About Stephanie Moore
There are no upcoming events
Colour is the most striking feature for paintings created by Stephanie Moore whose interpretations of the world through painting began in 1995. No formal training results in a borderless elucidation of refrains that appeals to her and her admirers. Life in England, Canada and California provided significant subject matter that is only surpassed by an imaginative creativity and spirituality that was gifted through her Jewish faith.
She intrigues children with colourful art including abstracts and fanciful animal compositions. Adults are also fascinated by these works and by her interpretation of medieval Judaica and Christianity, geishas, samurai and horses.
She has exhibited at local galleries and events where her work received numerous compliments and praise. While living in California, Stephanie exhibited at the Eclipse Gallery in Hesperia.
When the Fairmont Royal Hotel in Barbados reopened in November, 2017, the permanent art installations reflected the island's cultural traditions. Stephanie's work was selected for its simplicity and use of mono block colour that included the warmth, friendliness and openness of the Bajan people.
Stephanie is currently working on an ongoing series called “Colours of the Caribbean” and has completed a series based on Frida Kahlo'swork and a series on “Eve” influenced by the work of one of her favourite artists, Norval Morrisseau. She is also currently working on a series based on Victorian toy wooden horses.
Stephanie is a member of Artfinder, Fine Art America and Red Bubble art sites.
She has sold works to buyers from Alaska to the United Kingdom.
