About Soren Bouzon

Although as a child I would draw for endless hours, I have never attended an art school or took any painting classes.  I simply started to paint one day and I haven't stopped since then! Through my art I can express all that I see, feel and dream. 

Usually, I don’t think about what I’m going to paint; the result emerges by itself without following any particular style or line of work.I express myself spontaneously using bold colors and raw brush strokes, but I can also be sophisticated and precise when the artwork requires it.  

I do not seek perfection in my art because this eliminates the nature of what we have inside, our natural and pure talent.

 My work shows some aspects of my Cuban roots, mythologies and legends.  Also my personal vision of our society and the religious world that surrounds us. 

I’m happy with my simple and primitive style and I do believe that every work of art is beautiful and valuable, as long as they are created by the mind and the soul of any artist.
