Biography
My influences are van Gogh and Monet. In my art I aim to both comment on social issues or simply express my wonder at the beauty inherent in either someone, someplace or something. Most of my work is portraiture although I do enjoy doing land/seascapes, still lifes and abstracts. My main medium are oils, I also enjoy working in graphite, soft pastels and charcoal. Some of my pieces appear to have psychedelic qualities, others expressionistic and others more naturalistic. It all depends on how the subject matter makes me feel.
