'Sloth Metropolis' - In progress, dont ask re the name!

Currently layering this in such detail i can hardly see straight,.. time for a break. I am so into creating this Abstract / Geometric painting, the layers may go on forever. Taking loads of shots of it as layers of cosmic goodness are applied. Some of these progress shots look incredible as the are, im really not sure how far out im taking this one... The edited progress shots will be available as some tasty prints soon, on my website soon!

    'Hardflip' - Work in progress

    'Hardflip' - Work in progress

'Hardflip' - Work in progress Been loving getting back into the abstract geometric paintings again. Taking them a bit further than i did years ago. This one is from a series based around street skate boarding and architecture. Layers and layers of all the mediums i have pretty much, spray paint, acrylic, varnish, inks, texture gel, lighter fluid, white spirit and marker etc Used some incredibly vibrant spray paint colours which are near fluorescent. Some bits to reconstruct and touch up with a wee brush and its done. Don't usually think of framing much when i complete something as most my canvases look great flush to the wall with their deep canvas edges painted around. This one and probably the rest of the series however i canny wait to see in a floating frame with an eye popping pink from the painting on the backing. Hoping this will punch the paintings colours right out with the pink border and frame profile.. Also tempted to resin it...

A commissioned double canvas painting of Arran & Ailsa Craig on Scotlands West Coast.

A commissioned double canvas painting of Arran & Ailsa Craig on Scotlands West Coast.

The profile of Arran & Ailso Craig is painted across 2 separate deep edged canvases. The painting wraps around all the canvas sides and links in the middle when hung witha gap between. Very contemporary style of display and also helps fill a large space. This one is completed and client extra happy with the final results. Will post his photographs of the piece in the chosen room once edited.

New Abstract Geometric Nebula Space Painting - Spray Paint & Acrylic

New Abstract Geometric Nebula Space Painting - Spray Paint & Acrylic

A new painting in a series of geometric space paintings created in spray paint & acrylic paint. These paintings are a collaboration between myself and Michelle Campbell. Michelle has become one of my best friends and studio mate after meeting, both having a love for geometric art. The paintings are a blend of patterned geometric shapes and fine diffused spray paint effects giving a feel of huge depth and texture. Some of the spray paint is also semi neon or luminous which adds an extra dimension to the canvas... Keep an eye out for more progress and paintings on our social media sites.
