About Sally Goodden
Biography
Having grown up on a butterfly farm in Dorset, Sally has always been passionate about the natural world. After gaining a BA (Hons) degree in Scientific Illustration, she worked for years as a freelance illustrator in London for publishers such as Harper Collins, Kingfisher and Usborne.
As well as producing detailed illustrations for books, Sally has developed a loose contemporary watercolour style, adding extra energy and vibrancy to her larger wildlife art.
Nature is Sally’s constant source of inspiration. She lives near Winchester, Hampshire, with her husband and their two young children who have also caught the nature bug.
