About Ronald van den Boogaard

  • Biography

    Drawing, etching, lithographing, writing. Creating.

The artist is in dialogue with... (you name it) is a much overused phrase. The conversation with my drawings is ongoing. They ask me questions which I try to answer in a drawing which poses the next question. This might seem like going round in circles, a never ending game. However it is much more like going up a path that circles a mountain. You keep coming back to a similar view, but as it higher up the slope the perspective changes. Thereby feeding the creation.
