I have been an admirer of Richard's work for several years now. I have always planned to treat myself to one of his paintings and along came the most serendipitous, perfect reason to purchase one. Throughout the process Richard was informative and engaging in his communications and the painting arrived carefully wrapped and in perfect condition. The work itself, Neon Shore 34, is exquisite and I find myself starting at it, transported to another place. I look forward to purchasing more work from Richard in the future!

This was the first time that I purchased something that wasn't commissioned. The process was very easy and we got our art in no time. Art was beautiful. It is hard for the colors to show through the photos but it is a beautiful piece. One small call out was that although the art was listed as "paper" it is a thicker cardboard (I should have realized that on my own but as a novice, I just wasn't thinking that way). It only required a small adjustment on my framing but I wanted to note this in case others are as ignorant about art mediums as I am. Would highly recommend!

It is always important to be honest about your experiences of buying art in my Artfinder store. My thanks for this. In the art world you have different types of paper. The paper I use is high quality acrylic paper of the thickest kind of 400 grams. This is also stated as the first sentence in the description. This paper may look like cardboard, but it isn't. It is still paper, only of high quality. The thickness of the paper indicates the quality. For example, with thick paper you never get unevenness in the artwork and the artwork will remain intact for years. It's just a shame that this cost me one star in your rating. However, this is not the most important. In your review I can clearly see that you are satisfied with the artwork and that is the most important to me. Thanks again for purchasing in my Artfinder store and for writing this review. I wish you many years of pleasure from this artwork and I hope to welcome you again in my Artfinder shop. I am very happy with the painting. Everything about the experience is positive. Reasonable shipping time considering that it was shipping before the holidays and from The Netherlands. Mesmerizing use of colour and strokes to capture the cityscape. Truly love the artwork and wish the artist, Richard Vloemans all the best.
