New works created around the theme of Beach life and the ongoing themes of Youth Sub-Cultures and Retro style.
Biography
After studying at Central St Martins College of Art and Design in the mid eighties, Peter became a magazine Art director and Photographer for the next twenty years. He now paints full-time, regularly exhibits and completes commissions now hanging in private collections throughout the world.
With inspiration being drawn from as diverse subject matter as forties film noir, to prize fighters of the twenties and youth sub-cultures of the eighties, a longing for bygone eras is a constant theme throughout Peter Campbell Saunders’s evocative portraits.
