About Patrick Corcoran
Biography
Patrick Corcoran is a mixed media artist, whose practice includes
sculpture, installation, photography, print, drawing, film & the written
word. He has exhibited work national & internationally and has partaken in
several national artist & writers residencies. He is currently based in
Limerick city, Ireland.
Artist Statement: My art work stems from personal experience and other subjects which move me deeply. I have been making art since early childhood and the only thing I wanted after graduation was to go to art college, where I completed my BA in Fine Art/Sculpture and Mixed Media. Since then I have been making art as often as I can and developing my practice and skills as I go. In 2019, I completed an MA in Art Therapy, which reconnected me with various art media and art making processes.
