About Nezabravka Balkanjieva

I have studied art at an university level, however my degree is in Psychology and I worked as a Psychiatrist for most of my career. I have loved painting and drawing all my life, but it was only few years ago that I started doing it professionally and I have been loving every single moment since. For my work I mostly use acrylic paint on canvas, material which I have found work the best for me. I love hiking and  I get inspired by nature the most. Flowers are my favourite subject, but I often find beauty in other every day objects, from buildings to fruit and vegetables. As you might notice after looking at my work, still life is my favourite genre. In recent moths I have given landscapes a chance too!
