About Myriam Démarez Gérat

With a long-standing attraction for color and materials, Myriam Gérat naturally turned towards artistic training at the Duperré School of Applied Arts in Paris, where she explores various forms of artistic expression. There she obtained a diploma in the art of weaving.

Her professional career began with editors of upholstery and wallpaper, for which she played the role of sales advisor to customers, she also worked on the staging of the windows of their showroom.

Subsequently, it is within museums that she is integrated where she contributes through her creativity to the production of mediation materials and creative workshops.

Personally, creation and painting punctuate his free time. She likes to vary the techniques (acrylic, ink, watercolor, collages, ...)

Her inspirations: nature in motion, ephemeral light, on land and on the sea that she expresses on the canvas without prior drawing, spontaneously to capture all of its energy.
