About Mark Wagner

  • Biography
I have been taking photographs since about the age of 10. I work with both digital and film cameras. Some of the latter are antiques.

Someone once told me that I photograph dreams or imagined paintings. I have travelled extensively both in the US and abroad. I have made twelve trips to Europe, and photographed landscapes and people. I have crawled through castles in Ireland and Germany, did a project in the London Underground as well as two abbeys in England, the Paris Catacombs, railroad tunnels and abandoned ruins of factories, warehouses and insane asylums in the US all in attempts to capture odd places and sometimes people in unusual settings.

My photos are Light Jet prints on Kodak Endura paper - made by projecting lasers onto silver halide photographic paper under darkroom conditions and utilizing conventional photographic chemical developers, bleaches and fixers. The process yields continuous tone images at an apparent 4000 dpi resolution. The prints are museum archival quality and on matte finish paper.

Giclée prints on canvas are also available for some images. The inks used are archival quality.

Please note that larger sizes are available on some images of up to 60 inches in the longest dimension. I can provide a quote on specific sizes. I currently have 10 x 15 inch prints available.
