Picture arrived beautifully and carefully wrapped. This is delightful and fun picture, cleverly stitched and painted onto fabric.

From choosing 'Safehaven' to receiving it in the post, the process was flawless. Messages were quickly answered, the textile was very well packaged and the quality and weight of the fabric was even better than it appeared in the image. Monica Green made it a personal and friendly experience, and the textile work itself is beautifully made with original ideas on a coastal theme.

Thank you very much for your lovely review! I am so happy that you have had a nice buying experience. Yes, with the textile art it is really tricky to show just how lovely the piece is in reality. With textile it is so much about how it feels aswell as about how it looks and this is so hard to show on just photographs. I get so many people commenting on that the collages are even lovelier "in the flesh" when you can appreciate the depth and texture of them. Very disappointed to find that the artwork on delivery did not match the online listing. The overall impression of the sky blue fading to a pinkish tone on the right side with the tree was absent in the real piece, the dominant colours being green and cream (apart from the cottage). There is no doubt some small print saying online colours may not be a true representation but if I could return it and get a refund that would a good outcome. Someone else might just like it after all! Sorry Monica.

Hi Paul, It was with great sadness that I received your review today. I feel very sad that you saw nothing redeming in my painting. My intention with my art is to make people feel happy but clearly you feel nothing but dissapointment. I was very happy with this little painting and I like it a lot. I am very sorry that my photograph led you to believe that the sky was blue although I did explain in detail that I was trying to portray a wintery morning with a pinkinsh hue sky and that the painting had been white washed to create a very wintery look hence the white tones. I try my very best to make as accurate a listing as I possibly can and I apologise if you feel that I failed on this occasion. I am curious as to why you have waited so long to make your feelings known? I can see on the on-line tracking of the parcel that the painting was delivered to you on the 21st December. This is 23 days ago. Artfinder operates a 14 day free return policy so it would have been very simple to just return the painting within this time. However, I have no problem in taking the painting back and I suggest you contact Artfinder to get this arranged. As you so kindly pointed out, someone else might just like it.
